We believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus to everyone and we have a heart to reach out to be involved in our community. We have multiple outreach programs and opportunities to be of service to those about us.

We are excited to be able to help those with and without homes in our community in inclement weather situations and other disasters. Through the collaborative efforts between HRCLex and other ministries in the community we are able to provide shelter, food, clothes, transportation, and other needs.

We know that true church is when you and I leave the walls of our church building and minister to those around us. We love to "hit the streets" and go into the community where the needs are.

We love to provide a safe place for the community to have fun in. In the Community Day there is something for everyone including water slides, kid zone, cake walk, craft vendors, free food and more!

This is a FUNdraiser to help with our multiple outreach programs. Every donation we get goes right back into the community. There are many activities such as food and craft vendors, kid zone, teen zone, hayrides, pie the pastor, cake walk and many more!

Every year our HRStudents Ministry partners with World Ministries and hosts a 6K for water. This helps to raise money to build wells overseas for people who have to walk a 6K just to get fresh water.

We have a large clothing closet which we open at least once a month for walk-ins and anyone is welcome to come. If someone needs clothing at a different time, then they can call the church to schedule an appointment.

Christmas is such a great opportunity to show the love of Christ. Every year we choose a few places in our community that has a great need. We have helped orphanages, assisted living centers, individual families, homeless shelter, women's battered shelter, Toys For Tots, among others.

At Thanksgiving we like to help families that are not able to provide a Thanksgiving meal. We have a Gobbler Box that includes the turkey and all the fixings. Gobble gobble!

Every year our HRKids ministry hosts a Vacation Bible School for the kids in the community to learn about Jesus in a fun and interactive way. This event includes food, worship music, messages, games, T-shirts and other fun activities. On the last day the kids put on a special presentation.

We are pleased to allow other ministries and causes to use our parking lot for car shows and other fund raisers.

We are proud to be on the call lists of multiple places in the community to help meet needs.
