Pastor's Choice 2019 - The other 10 Commandments

James 4:7-10 NKJV

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Commandment #2, James 4:7b commands Christians to resist the devil

Commandment #3, James 4:8a commands Christians to draw near to God

2b The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.

Commandment #4 , James 4:8b commands Christians to clean up all outward acts of sin

Commandment #5 , James 4:8c commands Christians to see that our hearts are pure and we’re not living by a double standard

Commandment #9 , James 4:9d for penitent Christians to be serious
